Virtual Telehealth Visits for Patients Not Living in Massachusetts

This notice applies only to patients who are out-of-state at the time of their virtual telehealth appointment.

Most states have very strict laws that require healthcare clinicians to be licensed to practice in the state where a patient is located in order to provide care to that patient, including care that is done via a virtual telehealth visit. During the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, many states relaxed these licensing requirements on a temporary basis.

Atrius Health Participates in AMGA’s Capitol Hill Day

Kathy Keough, Director of Government Relations at Atrius Health, participated in the American Medical Group Association’s (AMGA) annual Capitol Hill Day event in Washington, DC on June 1st and 2nd. More than 50 representatives of medical groups from across the country gathered at this annual event to advocate for issues of importance to medical groups and health systems.

A number of Atrius Health representatives from VNA Care Network & Hospice and VNA of Boston participated in last week’s Home Care Advocacy Day at the State House hosted by the Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts.
