At Atrius Health, we respect the privacy of your personal health information and take great care to secure this information so that it is not shared with those who are not involved in your treatment.
However, we know that many of our patients do find it helpful to involve a family member or friend in their care. We want you to be aware of your options so you can make your wishes known to us.
- Should you want to bring a family member or friend to an appointment, please feel free to go ahead and do so at any time.
- You may request that your provider include a designated family member or friend in the discussion of a particular issue at any time – just notify your provider in the office or by telephone.
- You may request that your provider communicate with a designated family member/friend/caregiver about your ongoing care and treatment, and you may do so at any time by letting your provider know in the office or by telephone.
Please talk about this with your provider at any time so that we can be sure to respect your preferences related to sharing information about your care.
