Last fall, Atrius Health Chief Medical Officer Dr. Richard Lopez joined health experts from across the industry in Washington D.C. to participate in a workshop hosted by the Institute of Medicine (IOM) and National Research Council (NRC). The workshop, titled “The Future of Home Health Care,” sought to examine trends affecting Medicare’s home health care coverage and necessary changes to better serve patients and the U.S. health care system in the future.
