VNA Care Participates in Meetings with Congressional Leaders on Hospice Issues

VNA Care was well represented at this week’s “Advocacy Intensive 2016” sponsored by the Hospice Action Network, as nearly 300 representatives from hospice agencies descended on Washington, DC to meet with members of their respective Congressional leaders and their staff on issues of importance to hospice.

Atrius Health Joins Massachusetts Coalition for Serious Illness Care

Atrius Health Submits Comments on Proposed End-of-Life and Palliative Care Regulations

In 2009, the Massachusetts Expert Panel on End of Life Care, established by the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS), conducted a comprehensive review of the issues surrounding end-of-life care both nationally and in the Commonwealth. It concluded that Massachusetts residents nearing the end of their lives often do not receive the care that they want or need and are unaware of the full range of care options, including hospice and palliative care services.
